For more than a century, four generations of the Kovačević family have cared for bees beneath the sunny skies of East Herzegovina. What began as a humble family tradition has grown into Rural Apiary Kovačević—a place where nature, heritage, and authentic experiences come together.
Today, our family's legacy is proudly carried forward by women, making us the only women-owned organic apiary in Herzegovina. We are passionate about preserving not only the art of beekeeping but also the biodiversity, traditions, and rural way of life that have shaped our family for generations. Every drop of our certified organic honey reflects the pristine landscapes, wild herbs, and Mediterranean flora that surround our hives.

Our honey is a reflection of the land we call home.
Produced in the untouched landscapes of East Herzegovina, each jar captures the aromas of wild sage, Mediterranean herbs, flowering meadows, and the rich biodiversity that surrounds our apiary.
