"Is it possible to visit your apiary?"
-Yes!
Thank you for your interest in visiting our apiary. We welcome visitors, but we kindly ask that you schedule your visit in advance by phone or email. This helps us ensure that somebody is available to provide you with a guided tour and answer any questions you may have. We look forward to hosting you!
"What can I expect from this visit?"
We offer an authentic experience in a remote rural area, where we are hard at work preserving the traditions of our ancestors and showing people how they used to live. You will be guided by professional and friendly beekeepers who will immerse you in a bee-filled world and explain to you the journey honey takes before it ends up in a jar. Of course, a tasting of our honey products is an integral part of the tour!
"Do you provide protective equipment for each visitor?"
Absolutely! You will be provided with a protective beekeeping suit. Our beekeepers will make sure you put this suit on in the correct way. We do not provide shoes, so we recommend bringing along a pair of comfortable sneakers or shoes. No open toes near our bees, though. 😉
"Can I buy your products after the visit?"
Yes, it is possible to buy our products at the end of the guided tour, as we are a registered apiary and our products pass an official analysis each year.
"Is your apiary wheelchair accessible?"
Yes, there are no stairs or any obstacles which might make this adventure unpleasant for you. <3
"Should I know anything else?"
Please do tell us beforehand if you are allergic to bees or any bee product. We take your safety very seriously.
