About Us

Rural Apiary Kovačević is situated in the village of Skrobotno, nestled between Trebinje and Bileća. The history of beekeeping in Kovačević commenced in the 1930s when Radoslav Kovačević laid its foundation.

His passion for beekeeping was passed down to his son, Petar, who not only sustained this tradition but also expanded the apiary in the 1960s. The family narrative took a new turn in the 1980s when Petar’s wife, Nada, joined him in the apiary.
